Training Program -- Walking

Coach Braz and his staff offers walking programs that are available at the same time as the running programs.

To participate in a walking program, fill out a Sign-up Form.

Use one of the Sign-up Forms to sign up.


Walking Program Questions

What should I wear?
Anything that you find comfortable. If it's warm and the program is outside, you may want to wear comfortable shorts and a light shirt. When it becomes cooler, you may want to wear comfortable long pants and a warmer top.

If the workout is indoors, you will be comfortable with light clothing.

You will want to wear walking or running sneakers that are comfortable.

How fast will we walk?
The coaches will review your current condition and provide a walking program that fits your current ability. The pace will be one you can handle. You also will be given goals to achieve. A goal may be walking completely around the track without stopping, or walking a mile without stopping. Throughout your session, the coaches will monitor your progress.

You also will be with other walkers who are working with you to achieve your goals.
