Directions to Haverhill High School, 137 Monument Street, Haverhill, MA

From Points North

  • 495 South
  • Take the RT-97/RT-110/RT-113 exit. This is exit number 50-49, toward Downtown Haverhill/Salem NH -- 1/10th mile
  • Keep RIGHT at the fork in the ramp -- 2/10th mile
  • Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp -- 0/10th mile
  • Turn LEFT onto Broadway/Route-97 South -- 2/10th mile
  • Turn LEFT onto Monument Street -- half-mile School will be on your right
    Note: To return home on 495N, go straight through the traffic light.

    From Points South
  • 495 North
  • Take the RT-97/RT-110/RT-113 exit. This is exit number 50, toward Haverhill/Salem NH -- 4/10th mile
  • Stay in center lane, cross RT-97 onto Monument Street, straight through traffic light and blinking light, staying on Monument Street
  • Haverhill HS will be on your right

    Merrimack Valley YMCA Administrative Offices [outdoor winter track]
    7 Ballard Way, Lawrence
    From Boston: Take Route 93 North (approximately) thirty-two (32) miles to Exit 45, River Road. At the end of the exit, go left at the lights onto River Road. Continue straight and through 2 more sets of lights. (The Greater Lawrence Vocational Technical School will be on the left.) Continue for .6 mile. Turn right onto Ballard Street. (The Lawrence Elks will be on the left opposite Ballard Street.) Take the first left on Ballard Street onto Ballard Way. The Merrimack Valley YMCA Administrative and Camping Services Offices are on the left. The entrance is on the left side of the building. Parking is available on the sides and back of the building as well as the street.

    From New Hampshire: Take Route 93 South into Massachusetts to Exit 45, River Road. Bear right on the ramp onto River Road. Continue through 3 sets of lights. (The Greater Lawrence Vocational Technical School will be on the left.) Continue for .6 mile. Turn right onto Ballard Street. (The Lawrence Elks will be on the left opposite Ballard Street.) Take the first left on Ballard Street onto Ballard Way. The Merrimack Valley YMCA Administrative and Camping Services Offices are on the left. The entrance is on the left side of the building. Parking is available on the sides and back of the building as well as the street. Enter at main entrance, under blue awning.

    Andover High School [indoor winter track]:
    From I- 93, take the Lowell St/Rte 133 exit. Go east toward the IRS. At the 2nd set of lights at West Parish Church, bear right onto Shawsheen Rd. The HS is about a mile down on the right.
    From 495. Take the Rte 28/Main St exit Go south into Andover. At the 3rd set of lights (just past McDonalds), go right onto Stevens St. At the end of Stevens, bear right onto Shawsheen Rd. The HS is about 1/3 mile on the left.

    Peabody High School, 485 Lowell Street, Peabody, MA
    From Route 1 North: Route 1 to Lowell Street Exit. At bottom of ramp, take right. Proceed for approximately 1/4 mile to the set of lights. Take a left at the second set of lights and follow the drive, bearing to the right.

    From Route 1 South: Route 1 to Lowell Street Exit. Take a sharp right and go under the Route 1 overpass for approximately 1/4 of a mile. Take a left at the second set of lights and follow the drive, bearing to the right.

    From Route 128 from Gloucester: Route 128 to Lowell Street Exit. Bear right at the bottom of the ramp and go approximately 1-1/4 miles to the second set of lights. Take a right and follow the driveway to the high school.

    From Route 128/95 from the South Shore: Route 128 to Lowell Street/WEST Peabody Exit 25A. Take first right (North Shore Road) which will take you back to Lowell Street. At stop sign, turn right and go under the 128 overpass. Go approximately 1-1/4 miles to the second set of lights. Take a right and follow the drive to the high school.

    Do NOT take Exit 26 Lowell Street/Peabody Salem EAST. The high school is located in WEST Peabody. This exit is a right turn only and takes you in the opposite direction - away from the high school.
