Head Coach Fernando Braz
Fernando Braz has been the MVS Head Coach since 1992.
Coach Braz manages an extensive MVS coaching program that includes weekly track workouts, secondary weekly workout sessions, and weekend long runs. In addition, each coached athlete receives weekly emails from Coach Braz that include daily running schedules incorporating individual goals and training preferences, race planning advice, and general feedback.
Coach Braz is supported by Assistant Coaches who are active in all phases of the team training programs.
For those unable to attend workout sessions, Coach Braz offers coaching services by email, which include:
Delivery of a weekly training program that incorporates training preferences and history, lifestyle constraints, and racing goals.
Feedback on setting goals, racing strategy, and complementary strengthening programs.
Weekly exchange of information by email and modification of the program as required.
